FRIDAY ONLY:

VOTE POSTERS with Jami Heinricher of The Sherwood PressVoting is important and that's something most of us can agree upon! Come to Community Print on Friday any time between 6 and 10 pm to ink up and print one of two VOTE poster designs that Jami Heinricher will have available. You can take your own poster home and hang it proudly in your window. Jami is a career letterpress printer and owner of Olympia's historic letterpress shop, The Sherwood Press. Jami will guide you through the process and you can learn a bit about this printing technique along the way. Like voting, this is not an activity for young children.

SATURDAY ONLY:

The Community Print Arts Walk festivities continue on Saturday from 12:00-4:00pm. We will be offering a print demonstration using antique wood type, an independent collage activity, and an opportunity to support Community Print by shopping a selection of printed goods from our membership. Browse an exhibition of Get Out The Vote posters, and register to vote in the upcoming election. Learn about upcoming classes, volunteer opportunities, and how to become a member.Please note - our event times differ from Arts Walk’s advertised hours and this event ends at 4pm.
